HELLO!
I'm Sibylla Diaz, a Cuban-Peruvian girl, born and raised in New Jersey, and am currently a rising Junior at the University of Miami, pursing an Independent Study, combining by passions of Environmental Science and Strategic Communication. Along with a minor in Marine Science.
Growing up, I was obsessed with animals, marine biology, and sustainability — visiting every zoo and aquarium I could find, memorizing dog breeds, and watching every YouTube video on how to reduce waste. I was also a model in my youth, walking in New York Fashion Week and doing photoshoots with brands like Target, Timberland, and Five Below, which gave me a love for creativity, fashion, and what it takes to make storytelling vision come to life behind the scenes. On top of that, I'm a self-proclaimed concert addict, lover of all kinds of music, dance, and thrifting.
My dreams for my career long term, ranges from working in creative fields like public relations, fashion, entertainment, music, or social media industries or working in scientific fields like in animal care, research, labs, sustainable fashion, and science communication. Or a career that blends both my creative and scientific passions and all my skillsets.
